Directions Deconstructing Ableism ? Read the Eli Clare interview and then watch Young’s TedxSydney Talk. Be sure to read the interview slides prior to watching the video. Then, answer the following: ? In what ways does essentializing disability relate to Young’s discussion of “inspiration porn”? ? What connections do you see with Clare’s critique of most non-disability social activists’ tendency to ignore or minimize DR rights?
